Privacy Overview

This is a public server consider anything you do on this server public and nothing private.  If you wouldn’t go inside a Church during service and make a very obvious scene so everyone can see it then don’t do it here.

Who we are

Phoenix Bible Study provides Bible Study Content primarily on YouTube.  Our website address is:  As this is a public forum for Bible Study there is no Privacy.  While we do our best to identify who is accessing information on this server there are many ways information is obtained about you that we have no control over.  Such as Google tracks you nearly everywhere and we use Google services.  If you link from a Social Media site they track you everywhere and again we have no control about it.  So consider anything you do on this server PUBLIC.  After all everything is known by God even your deepest secrets!

What personal data we collect and why we collect it


When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.


If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Nobody.  That said there are a number of third parties that you might be sharing data with that receive data by your use of this site.  Such as Google or Facebook.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.  It also does not remove any data stored on backup systems that might resurface if a restoration is required.  You can login using your old credentials and delete this data again if you require it.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

We don’t share anything outside of legal requirements.  As already made clear though don’t post, share, or private message anything that you consider private.  This is a public server and your use is the same as when you go to Church or shop at a Mall.  They keep records.  All records on this server are kept.

As clearly mentioned your data is public there is no private data on this server.

What data breach procedures we have in place

None don’t put anything on this server that should be private.  If we are made aware of a breach we will attempt to notify you at the email address you provided to let you know your information might have been compromised.

What third parties we receive data from

None:  At this time we don’t even support automated logins from third party providers such as Google or Facebook.  If and when such services become available we will update this policy.  Although they might receive data by your use and their links and scripts for your use on this site.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

None:  This site is for the Lord’s use and he doesn’t need automated decision making or profiling.

None we are not affiliated with any denomination, industry, or group.
